Petrocosmea ‘Rosemary Platz’, 2009, IR091097, Tim Tuttle, PA. (P. rosettifolia x P. sericea). Cross made Jan. 6, 2008, planted Mar. 1, 2008 and first flowered Nov. 16, 2008. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively.  Compact, flat rosette. Leaves bullate, hairy, medium green with silver edge, light green in center, 31 mm long x 27 mm wide with 43 mm long petiole, ovate with crenate margin, rounded tip and cuneate base. Calyx split, medium green, 5 mm long. Pedicel 82 mm with one flower per leaf axil. Corolla rotate, 16 mm long x 20 mm wide, pale purple with white reverse. Size and form of leaves similar to P. sericea, lighter center color similar to P. rosettifolia. Flower form and shape similar to P. rosettifolia.
