Smithiantha 'Riko'. 1996, IR96500, Masaki Yamagata, Kyoto, Japan, (S. 'Santa Kulala' x S. 'Dent Vieux'). Cross made in December 1993, first bloomed February 1995. Leaves yellowish green (143B), dark green around veins (147A), orbicular with acute tip and cordate base, wavy margins, 19.5 cm long, 16.2 cm wide with 7.8 cm petiole. Calyx split, 5.5 mm long, pedicel 21 mm long. Flowers campanulate, 40.5 mm long, 23.5 mm wide, tube orange outside (32A), inside (38D), white at tip.
