Primulina ‘SCBG Huangzuan’, IR141246, Ning Zu-Lin, Liu Juan and Kang Ming, Guangzhou, prov. Guangdong, China. (P. lutea x P. subulata). Cross made Apr, 2012, planted Jul. 2012 and first flowered 2013. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal Rosette. Leaves medium green, 10-12 cm long x 10-12.5 cm wide, 5-8cm petiole, hairy, bullate, orbicular with serrate margin, cordate base and acute tip. Calyx split, yellowish-white, 6-8mm long, ca. 1 mm wide. Pedicel 0.5-1.5 cm, No of flowers per axil–20-30. Corolla salverform, 2.2-2.5cm long, tube 1.5-1.6 cm long x 1-1.2 cm wide with orifice ca. 0.6 cm in diameter, yellowish color with flavous stripes inside the tube. Distinguishing characteristics: Bracts broadly ovate 2.5-3 cm x 1-1.5 cm, bract margin has 3-5 teeth on each side. Corolla has 5-7 lobes. Cymes have 3-5 branches with 20-30 flowers.
