Primulina ‘GCCC’s Pink Thousand Bells’, 2021, IR211674, hybridized by Fang Wen, Yi-Gang Wei, Long-Fei Fu; Guangxi Institute of Botany; Guilin, China. (P. brunea x P. renifolia). Cross made 04.14.2018, seeds planted 09.20.2018, first flowering 05.27.2020. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem 1-5 cm. Leaves dark green, the adaxial surface of leaf blade has more or less purple shading, 4-6 cm long, 3-4 cm wide, 3-7 cm or longer petiole, ovate with cuneate to oblique base, acute tip, serrate margin, smooth. Calyx split, brownish green, 6-8 mm. Length of the pedicel 0.9-1.1 cm, 24-48 or more flowers per axil. Corolla campanulate, ca. 1.5 cm long, 0.8-1.0 cm wide, bright pink, throat with some dark purple stripes, tube pale pink to white. Medium plant size. Prefers bright scattered natural light; moist but well-drained & calcium-rich substrate (equal to PH ≥7.0); don’t overfertilize and overwater.
