Episcia ‘GV’s Cherries in the Snow’ 2022, IR221747, hybridized by Gayathri Valsala; Kollam, Kerala, India. (E. hybrid (dark leaves/red blossoms) x E. ‘Thai Silk’). Cross made 09.08.2020, seeds planted 11.11.2020, first flowering 02.05.2022. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Compact rosette habit, stem length 7 cm. Leaves silvery light green with faded olive-green pattern towards the outer edge, 11.5 cm long, 9.5 cm wide, 8.0 cm petiole, ovate, acute tip, cuneate base, crenate margin, bullate. Calyx split, silvery light green, length 10 mm, length of the pedicel 4 cm, 3 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 2.7 cm long, 2.5 cm wide, red orange.
