Sinningia ‘Florida Floozie’

Sinningia ‘Florida Floozie’, 2011, IR111176, Thad Scaggs, FL. (S. macrostachya hybrid x S. ‘Kevin Garnett’). Cross made Jan. 9, 2008, planted Sept. 5, 2008. Pollen fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Tuberous with upright growth. Leaves smooth, medium dark green, 6.5 in. long x 4.75 in. wide with 2.75 in. petiole, ovate with crenate margin, acute tip and cordate base.  Calyx double, fused with scalloping, 1.75 in. long, outside white from base to light pink with a white stripe, inside purple red, some petals  lighter with purple red spotting and streaking. Pedicel 1.75 in. long with 3-4 flowers per leaf axil. Corolla salverform, 2 in. long x 1 in. wide, purple red with darker magenta spots. Very long tubular calyx double flowers with bold bright markings.
