Smithiantha ‘Pat’s Pet Deer’, 2006, IR06941, Gary Dunlap, MO. (S. ‘ Curacao x S. ‘Prelude’). Cross made Dec. 5, 2000, planted Mar. 28, 2001 and first flowered Sept. 15, 2001. Reproducible only vegetatively. Erect to 30 cm. Leaves light green with olive green veins, hairy, 13 cm long x 10 cm wide with 5 cm petiole, orbicular with serrate margin, acute tip and cordate base. Calyx green, split, 6 mm long. 4 cm pedicel. Corolla salverform, 4.5 cm long x 2.5 cm wide, dark pink tube, yellow lobes with dark pink dots and yellow throat. Available from Pat’s Pets.
