Streptocarpus ‘Bowmere’

Streptocarpus ‘Bowmere’, 2011, IR111171, Dave Downs, England. (S. ‘Violet Lace’ x unknown). Cross planted Mar. 2010, first flowered June 2011. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively. Rosette. Leaves mid green, 15 cm long x 7 cm wide, elliptic with serrate margin, acute tip and cuneate base. Calyx split, green, 0.5 cm long. 2 flowers per peduncle. Corolla salverform, 5 cm long x 6 cm wide, white with broad violet edging to all lobes. Similar to ‘Roulette Cherry’and distinct from ‘Roulette Azur’ which is blue.
