Streptocarpus ‘Ronduls Juliet’

Streptocarpus ‘Ronduls Juliet’, 2011, IR111167, Ron Clarke, England. (S. Dibley’s ‘Charlotte’ x S. ‘Texas Sunrise’). Cross made June 2004, planted Sept. 2004 and first flowered May 2005. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively.  Quite large frowing rosette. Leaves bullate, mid-green, 20 cm long x 10 cm wide, elliptic with crenate margin, acute tip and cuneate base. Calyx split, green, 1-2 cm long. Peduncle 1-2 cm long with 1 to 5 flowers. Corolla salverform, 7 cm long x 7l5 cm wide, tube lilac turning lighter toward calyx outside, face lilac with wavy lobes, seven darker, forked lines extend from throat onto a bib of bright yellow.  Available from hybridizer or Frank Davies.
