Kohleria ‘Bud’s Stacy Lynn’

Kohleria ‘Bud’s Stacy Lynn’, 2017, IR171357, hybridized by Brandon W. Erikson, NE.  (K. ‘Emily Roberts’ x K. ‘Peridots Kitlope’). Cross made 06.18.2014, planted 07.31.2014, and first flowered 02.10.2015.  Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Erect growth habit. Medium growth, easily controllable. Leaves dark green with black/green veining more apparent in younger foliage, 13-15cm long, 4-5cm wide, with 1-2 cm petiole, elliptic  with cuneate base, serrate margin and acute tip, bullate, hairy. Calyx split, green, 1.5cm long. Pedicel 3 cm with 4-6 flowers per axil. Corolla  tubular, subventricose 2.5-3cm long x 2-2.5cm wide, orange/pink, white face, burgundy spots. Bright blooms with white face against dark foliage.Tends to bloom all at once along the full stem length.
