Nautilocalyx ‘Dekla’

Nautiocalyx ‘Dekla’. 1976, IR76142, Frances Batcheller, NH. (n. villosus x N. melittifoilius). Cross made 1969, flowered 1970. Erect stems, 30 cm or more tall, red brown, stiff. Leaves covered with short white hairs, medium green with brown crenate edges, 8 cm long x 5 cm wide. Inflorescence axillary, up to 6 per axil. Calyx green, triangular toothed sepals. Corolla 4 cm long, straight tube with spreading lobes, 3 cm across, (10P 6/9 Nickerson) with darker lines in throat.
