Primulina ‘Angel’, 2019, IR191451, hybridized by Mao Lin, Qing Tang, Jin-hua Li; Nanning, China. (P. liujiangensis (D. Fang & D.H. Qin) Yan Liu x P. liboensis (W.T. Wang & D.Y. Chen) Mich. Möller & A. Weber). Cross made 04.13.2017, seeds planted 06.26.2017, first flowered 05.15.2019. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves bright green 7-10.7 cm long, 4.7-9.5 cm wide, 1.9-4.4 cm long petiole, ovate to orbicular with cuneate base, serrate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, green, 0.5-0.7 cm long. Pedicel 2.3-3.4 cm long with 4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.4- 4.1 cm long x 1.1-1.3 cm wide. Corolla dark purple. Easy grower, prefers weaker scattered light and consistently moist substrate.
