Primulina ‘Cat’s Spoondrift’

Primulina ‘Cat’s Spoondrift’, 2015, IR151282, Lai Bi-dan, Huang Yi-qin, Guangxi, China (P. medica   P. macrorhiza). Cross made Apr. 10, 2013, planted Apr.30, 2013, and first flowered Feb 23, 2015.  Reproducible only vegetatively. Rosette.  Leaves light green with short gray or white hair, 10-12 cm long x 6.5-7 cm wide with 5.5-6 cm petiole, ovate with crenate margin, cuneate base and acute tip, hairy. Calyx split, light green, 0.6-0.7 cm long. Pedicel 0.7 – 1 cm with 6-10 flowers. Corolla salverform, 4.3-4.5 cm long x 2.5-3 cm wide, white.  Easy to grow, suitable to very good but not direct light. The temperature should be in a range of 0 – 35C.
