Primulina ‘Cat’s Sunshine’

Primulina ‘Cat’s Sunshine’, 2019, IR191471, hybridized by Lai Bi-dan and Huang Yi-qing; Nanning, China. (P. versicolor x P. pseudoeburnea). Cross made 06/18/2014, seeds planted 07/29/2014, first flowered 06/10/2017. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, length of the stem 2-3 cm. Leaves dark green, 14-20 cm long, 7.5-10 cm wide, 6-8 cm long petiole, elliptic with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, yellow green, 0.5-0.8 cm long. Pedicel 1-1.5 cm long with 15-18 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3-3.5 cm long x 1.3-1.5 cm wide, outside moderate pink with several deep pink lines, throat pale yellow to brilliant yellow with several reddish orange stripes, lips light purple. Easy to grow, suitable to a very good light but not direct sun, temperature range is 0-30℃.
