Primulina (Chirita) ‘Souvenir’

Primulina ‘Souvenir’. 2005, IR05922, Peter Shalit, WA, (P. spadiciformis x P. sclerophylla). Cross made 2003. Reproducible only vegetatively. Rosette, suckers freely. Leaves smooth, 25-30 mm two-toned dark green margin (141A), 30-40 mm silver green center (138D), 155-160 mm long x 85-95 mm wide, ovate with entire margin, acute tip and cuneate base. Calyx green, 7 mm long. Pedicel 20 mm with 5-8 flowers per peduncle. Corolla salverform, 42 mm long x 22 mm wide, medium lavender (82C). First mentioned 2005, Appraisal 23 (3) 3-4.
