Primulina ‘Fall Dancer’

Primulina ‘Fall Dancer’, 2019, IR191476, hybridized by Haixia Yan, Qian Song, Jinye Zhou, Changyan Huang, Flower Research Institute of Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Nanning, China. (P. guizhongensis x P. leprosa). Cross made 10/23/2017, seeds planted 12/22/2017, first flowered 10/16/2019. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 7.3-11.6 cm long, 3.2-7.0 cm wide, 4.6-8.9 cm long petiole, elliptic with cuneate base, serrate margin and acute tip, bullate, hairy. Calyx spit, light green to brown, 0.7-0.8 cm long. Pedicel 1.6-2.7 cm long with 4-6 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.9-4.4 cm long 1.2-1.5 cm wide, light yellow to pale purple. Flowers have the tendency to bloom upwards.
