Primulina ‘GCCC’s Purple Sweet Potato Cake’, 2020, IR201482, Fang Wen, Yi-Gang Wei, Zhang–Jie Huang, Guilin, China. (P. hiepii  x  unknown, may be seed or vegetative mutation of P. hiepii). Cross made probably Sep. 2017, seed planted Oct.-Nov.2017. First flowered 01.07.2019. Fertile. Basal rosette. Leaves green thick, fleshy, glabrous both surfaces, ca.15 cm long, 12-13 cm wide, 8-12 cm long petiole, elliptic to ovate with cuneate base, serrate margin, and acute tip, smooth. Calyx spit, brown, 4.5 mm long. Pedicel ca. 1cm long with ca. 20 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, ca. 0.8-1.2 cm long x 4-5 mm wide, pale purple to bluish purple . Prefers bright scattered natural light, moist but well drained calcium rich substrate (pH equal or above 7), do not overfertilize.
