Primulina ‘Mist Rain’

Primulina ‘Mist Rain’, 2019, IR191478, hybridized by Haixia Yan, Jinye Zhou, Shuming Luo，Jieling Deng, Flower Research Institute of Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Nanning, China. (P. leprosa x P. guizhongensis). Cross made 10/12/2017, seeds planted 12/22/2017, first flowered 10/12/2019. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 5.3-9.2 cm long, 2.9-5.6 cm wide, 3.1-7.8 cm long petiole, elliptic to ovate with cuneate base, serrate margin and acute tip, bullate, hairy. Calyx spit, light green, 0.5-0.8 cm long. Pedicel 0.8-1.7 cm long with 1-3 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.3-3.9 cm long 1.1-1.3 cm wide, pale yellow to pale purple.
