Primulina ‘Nifty Girl’, 2020, IR201509, hybridized by Shikai Guan, Haixia Yan, Qian Song, Shuming Luo, Nanning, China. (P. purpurea  x  P. liguliformis). Cross made 04.06.2017, seeds planted 05.05.2017, first flowered 03.10.2020. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green with white veins, 14.4-18.7 cm long, 8.5-10.2 cm wide, 2.5-7.4 cm long petiole, elliptic with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, green, 0.8-1.5 cm long. Pedicel 1.1-1.9 cm long with 2-6 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4.6-5.2 cm long x 1.4-1.5 cm wide, purple. Bloom season from March to April. Will grow well in the environment with scattered light, relative air humidity above 60% and temperature range 20-25℃.
