Primulina ’Silver Rain’

Primulina ‘Silver Rain’, 2018, IR181396, registered by Wen-Jun Lv, Hong-Tao Liu, Sheng Huang, Hui Xu; Wu Han, China. Mutation of P. fimbrisepala.
Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Dark green leaves with an irregular silver-white sprinkle spotting, 5-6.3 cm long, 4.3-5.4 cm wide with 3.5-6.2 cm petiole, ovate with oblique base, crenate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx leafy, reddish green, 10-11 mm long. Pedicel 5.1-5.4 cm long with 1 flower per axil. Corolla infundibuliform, 6.4-6.5 cm long x 3.0-3.3 cm wide, purple-red.
Suitable to grow in a scattered light environment, the optimum temperature is 15-25℃.
