Primulina ‘Yan’s Smile’, 2020, IR201502, hybridized by Haixia Yan, Jinye Zhou, Dayan Tao, Jieling Deng, Nanning, China. (P. purpurea. x P. medica). Cross made 03.27.2018, seeds planted 05.02.2018, first flowered 02.17.2020. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 7.8-12.1 cm long, 5.1-6.3 cm wide, 1.8-3.6 cm long petiole, elliptic with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx spit, light green, 0.6-0.8 cm long. Pedicel 3-4 cm long with 4-12 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.3-3.5 cm long x 0.7-1.0 cm wide, purplish. Needs bright scattered light. Avoid waterlogging.
