Sinningia ‘Rock Loves China’

Sinningia ‘Rock Loves China’, 2017, IR171360, hybridized by Jay Sespico, FL (S.speciosa (spotted pink) x S. ‘Dale’s Coral Fiesta’). Cross made 03.28.2015, planted 05.30.2016, and first flowered 09.12.2016.  Reproducible only vegetatively. Leaves green with white veining, 6 in. long, 4 in. wide, with 2 in. petiole, ovate with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, light green with yellow tips,0.85 in. long. Pedicel 3.6 in. long with 2 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform 1.8 in. long x 2.5 in. wide, nodding, white with blue spots. Green leafed medium size Sinningia speciosa type plant with white flowers with blue spots in the throat and on the petals, heavier spotting on the lower petals.
