Sinningia ‘Ugly Girl’, 2021, IR211564, hybridized by Margery Anderson-Clive, Portugal. (S. ‘Amy Boyer’ x S. ‘MarLyn’). Cross made 05.12.1998, seeds planted 08.20.1998, first flowering 01.12.1999. Fertile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Upright compact habit, stem length 2.5-4 inch. Leaves glossy dark green, slight red veining on leaf and stem, 3-4 inch long, 2.25-2.75 inch wide, 1.5 inch petiole, ovate, with cordate base, acute tip, crenate margin, bullate. Calyx split, green with red tips, bowed back 0.375 inch. Length of the pedicel 2-2.75 inch, 2 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 1.5 inch long, 2.25 inch wide, salmon with blush face, edged, purple veining/feathering, yellow spotted throat.
