Streptocarpus ‘Cottontail’

Streptocarpus ’Cottontail’. 1999, IR99594, J. Ford, OH. [1987]. (‘Blueberries and Cream’ x ‘Ariadne’). Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively. Medium rosette mature in 15 cm (6 in.) pot. Leaves bullate, dark green, 19 cm long x 6.5 cm wide, elliptic with serrate margin and acute tip. 4-5 flowers per peduncle. Corolla salverform, tube 2.5 cm long, limb 4 cm x 5 cm, light purple pink with maroon veins onto lower lobes, two broad white lines coming from center of throat.
