Streptocarpus ‘Davies Plum Panther’, 2019, IR191448, hybridized by Jordan Fenerty Cunningham, Calgary, Canada. (S. ‘Bristol’s Ice Castle’ x S. ‘Dibley’s Harlequin Lace’). Cross made 01.12.2018, seeds planted 03.18.2018, first flowered 11.16.2018. Fertile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, large. Leaves medium green, 9 in long, 4 in wide, elliptic with rounded tip and crenate margin. Calyx split, medium green, 0.3 in long. Pedicel 1.6 in long with 3-6 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3 in long, 2.5 in wide, plum colored corolla with white to lilac stripes in a throat, dark purple stripes on lower petals. The pattern in the throat creates additional interest by reminding a haft style embroidery.
