Streptocarpus ‘Heartland’s Snowflakes’

Streptocarpus ‘Heartland’s Snowflakes’, 2017, IR171363, hybridized by D. Martens, IL, (S. ‘Heartland’s White Gold’ x S. ‘Brooklin’s Bubblegum’). Cross made 2012, planted 2012, and first flowered Dec.2012.  Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves dark green, 15cm long, 4cm wide, with 2cm petiole, bullate, linear with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, reddish-green, 2mm long. Pedicel 10 cm long with 2-3 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 4cm long, 3 cm wide, white to very pale lavender, pale yellow throat. Very compact size, rosette shaped plant.
