xSmithicodonia ‘Behavin’

xSmithicodonia ‘Behavin’. 1982, IR82226,  Jim Roberts. (Smithiantha ‘Little One’ x Eucodonia). Cross made June 1979, planted Feb. 1980 and first flowered June 1980. Reproducible only vegetatively. Low irregular rosette, 5-06 cm tall, spread averages 25 cm wide. Leaves iridescent bronze-green, 8 cm wide x 12 cm long with 3 ½ cm petiole. Flowers slipper shape purple tube (RHS 78B), white throat with dark markings on inside of tube and lower limb.
