xSmithicodonia ‘Heartland’s Joy’, 2017, IR171364, hybridized by D. Martens, IL, (). Cross made Jan. 2004, planted Mar. 2004, and first flowered Oct. 2004.  Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively.Upright habit. Leaves green with red veining on upper leaf and on the back of the leaf, 15cm long, 9cm wide, with 3.5cm petiole, ovate with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip, hairy.. Calyx split, green-maroon, 7mm long. Pedicel 7 cm long with 6-7 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.5cm long, 2.5cm wide, magenta-wine, darker edges, white throat with maroon dots. Eucodonia shape flowers. It is being grown all over the world with photos shared in Facebook.
