Primulina ‘Spring of Green City’

Primulina ‘Spring of Green City’, 2020, IR201501, hybridized by Haixia Yan, Dayan Tao, Shuming Luo, Shikai Guan, Nanning, China. (P. sp.  x  P. macrorhiza). Cross made 03.20.2018, seeds planted 05.02.2018, first flowered 02.23.2020. Sterile. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves dark green with white veins, 8.8-11.8 cm long, 4.1-5.5 cm wide, 1.8-5.0 cm long petiole, elliptic with cuneate base, serrate margin and acute tip, hairy. Calyx split, green, 1.0-1.1 cm long. Pedicel 4-7 cm long with 3-8 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 5.8-6.3 cm long x 1.6-2.0 cm wide, blue to purple. A neat accurate rosette type plant. Suitable to grow in a weaker scattered light environment, relatively moist substrate, temperature range 10-40℃.
